RUMOR: |TNAWN| Kurt Angle was on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show this past week and announced his signing with an MMA promotion (possibly UFC). Angle said he will debut in the latter half of 2009. This should not jeopardize his contract with TNA.
Great, just what we need. Putting Angle in a situation where people really want to hurt him instead of people pretending to want to hurt him. My prediction: Angle will get beat and it will not be pretty.

-Tenay and West welcome us to the show and run down the card for the show.
~THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN DISCUSSES UNFINISHED BUSINESS~
Jarrett is out and says as the founder of TNA it gives him great pleasure to announce that they has signed a great and unique wrestler, one of the greatest of all time. This is the greatest acquisition in TNA history and next week he will be here live in the Impact Zone, Mick Foley. Jarrett has a short video play, and that brings out…Kurt Angle, who likely does not approve. Angle disputes the claim that Foley is a great acquisition and then says Jarrett’s head has been up his ass for 24-months. Jarrett left, Angle entered and single handedly he carried the company for 2-years and made it what it was. He turned this outhouse into a penthouse. Foley is yesterday’s news, just like Jarrett. Jarrett says he wanted to come out here and forget about last week. He said some thing he shouldn’t have said and he apologizes to Angle. Jarrett says he had a hard time deciding to return to the on camera role. There have been things going on around here that he disagrees with. Jarrett mentions that AJ left the building two straight weeks with Angle’s gold medal. Jarrett went to AJ and got them back, because while they have differences, in 1996 Kurt Angle won this gold medal for the country and is a true American hero. Angle asks if he will just give it back, and says that is swell but get the hell out of his ring. Angle then says he doesn’t need Jarrett kissing his ass, he knows he’s great. OH SHIT, Angle just called Jarrett a BITCH and a washed up failure like his old man. Jarrett keeps walking, and Angle says to tell your kids that daddy is a quitter. That did it. Jarrett walks back to the ring and says his whole life he has been a warrior, a competitor. He has survived every battle, but Kurt has no ideal what Jarrett has been through and he doesn’t wish then on Angle. But Jarrett has never and will not quit. “You want me back in the ring Kurt? I will grant you your wish, you don’t want any part of the pain I suffered these last 2-years. You got me at Bound for Glory, I’ll see you in Chicago.”
Matt Morgan and Abyss vs. The Rock and Rave Infection (Rock and Rave w/Infection)
Rave wanted to start with Abyss, bad plan, so Rock is in and works over Abyss, but then eats a big boot. Rave collides with Abyss and is down. Morgan tags in, big cross body off the top to Rock. Double team flapjack to Rave and then a hip toss to the floor, sucks to be Rave. Morgan follows, Hemme rakes his back and Rock then attacks him from behind. Back in and Rave gets a cover for 1. Rock in and they double team, well try to and Morgan lays out Rock, dropkick to Rock and a tag to Abyss. BLACK HOLE SLAM! SHOCK TREATMENT! Abyss runs wild, tags Morgan in and he drops Rave with the HELLEVATOR! That’s all.
Winners: Abyss and Matt Morgan @ 3:00 via pin
# Fine for the time given, but it was all about the after match angle.
RATING: *½-Team 3D is now out and Devon says at No Surrender they lost on a fluke. But they don’t realize who they are, they are the baddest tag team walking the planet. Team 3D. They have accomplished 9-time WWE tag team champions, 1-time WCW champions, 8-time ECW champions, All Japan tag team champions and boys, they are undefeated in Japan. 1-time TNA champions, that’s 20-times, and there is not a tag team that has done more then they have Ray now has the mic and says at Bound for Glory, it will be 3D vs. Morgan and Abyss and any other tag team that wants in, MONSTERS BALL! Abyss FREAKS out at this news!
-Rough Cuts on Roxxi.
-Lauren is with Beer Money and Miss Jackie. They discuss the match later tonight, where the losing team loses their manager. Storm says no disrespect to the Guerrero name, but Jackie has been in this business for a long time. They didn’t want a pretty face, they wanted the baddest woman on the planet! She completes Beer Money, Jackie was born to wrestle, to beat people up. And you’ll see how tough she is. Storm says to grab his hat, and Jackie leaves. Roode says if they lose she is gone for good. Storm says they won’t lose on his watch, and grabs his beer helmet.
-We get a knockouts video package.
-Kong comes out alone, and looks for Saeed as she comes to the ring.
Awesome Kong vs. Mercedes Steele
Mercedes Steele is known to many as “Lexxus” and is from New England. Congrats on the national TV time honey, sorry it’s against Kong. Lock up and Kong tosses Steele down. Steele uses her speed, kicks, dropkick and then Kong LEVELS her Vader style. Kong tosses her to the floor, and Saeed comes to the ring with two chairs. Kong beats down Steele on the floor, back into the ring we go and whips her to the corner, corner splash follows from Kong. KONG BOMB and that is all.
Winner: Awesome Kong @ 1:30 via pin
-After the match Saeed tosses the chairs into the ring, lays one down and instructs Kong to torture Steele. CHAIR SHOT by Saeed! Another! Kong is down! Saeed unmasks and it is Roxxi! Roxxi goes on the attack and beats down Kong with rights from the mount! Security is out to stop that, and we see the REAL Saeed on the ramp, tied up.
~KAREN’S ANGLE~
Christian Cage is the guest. She says that for months the locker room has been divided, veterans vs. guys like AJ and Joe that have helped to build this company. Cage says he falls in the middle. He agrees with Joe and AJ to a point, but until Cage, Nash, Angle and Sting came, they were not household names, and no big TV deal. Is it respect or money with them, he doesn’t know. He sees both sides because he has been there. Form his point of view, he sees it as motivation. You bust your ass to get to the top. You don’t get respect, you earn it. He is in the middle, still young but also has been in the business for a while. Last week his outburst was taken out of context. AJ Knows he doesn’t like to be spoken for, but he and AJ cleared the air. Karen asks what side he is on, and he feel like a free agent. It depends on who has the better offer. He says the sides haven’t been decided, and Karen says he is avoiding the question. Cage promises to look on, and a PHONE rings. It sounded like a 1950’s phone. It’s Cage’s agent, and he leaves.-Lauren is with LAX and Hector. Hector says that they put too much gravy on their biscuits. Ok. He says that they are blood, familia, he promised to never let them down, and he will do his best. Blood is thicker than water, and there is nothing stronger than that. Hector then calls Jackie a wench, nice.
-JB is with Booker in his locker room. Sharmell has the briefcase again. Booker says there is a lot going on, but where he is from in Africa, one thing doesn’t change, the king and queen. No matter what happens, they will continue to rule. Booker says AJ has been here for 6-years, and he did nothing. He did more in 6-minutes than AJ has. The ratings went through the roof, AJ is small time and needs to go. JB asks what is in the briefcase, and gets slapped by Sharmell for his troubles. Dumb ass.
Non-Title Losing Team Loses Their Manager Forever Match: LAX and Hector Guerrero vs. Beer Money and Jackie Moore
Storm and Cide to begin. Boots by Cide, off the ropes and a shoulder block, counters and an overhead toss by Cide gets 2. Roode tags in, they try a double team, Cide ballets back, RANA to Roode and a tag to Hector. Rights to Roode, to Storm, a dropkick to Storm and then rights and lefts to Roode. Hector clears the ring of Storm, suplex to Roode, another and the third, THREE AMIGOS! Jackie in and attacks hector, she then runs and Hector chases her. Cide and Roode in, and we head to a commercial @ 3:00.
We are back from commercial @ 6:00 as Storm places Cide on the top rope, they show replays and then we see Storm biting Cide on the forehead. Cide fights back and gets, well, something off of the top, it was sloppy. Tag to Hernandez and he slingshots in and begins to clean house. Gut wrench into a torture rack drop by Hernandez gets 2. Storm back in and a boot to Hernandez, atomic drop by Roode and a back stabber by Storm gets 2. Dual clothesline by Hernandez, Cide up top and a side suplex by Hernandez, frog splash by Cide gets 2. Roode and Storm to the floor, Cide misses the baseball slide, Roode and Storm hit each other and Hernandez then goes to toss Cide, Jackie back in, Hector follows and Roode is back in, nails Hernandez and then he spears the hell out of Roode. SUPERMEX DIVE by Hernandez onto Beer Money! Cide and Roode back in, Gringo Cutter! Jackie distracts the ref, Cide chases her and Roode uses Storm’s helmet to KILL Hernandez with a shot to the head, and Roode covers for the win.
Winners: Beer Money @ 10:00 via pin
# Overall this was a good match. They played the chase bit a little too much, but the end with Homicide leaving to chase Jackie works perfectly, especially if they are looking to do the split of LAX. Hector did will for his short stint in the ring, so good for him. Also the heels cheating to cost LAX their manager is a great dick move.
RATING: **½~THE LOVE-IN~~
Dutt and Val have been in bed for the last 10-days, celebrating since the PPV. Val says she owes no explanation. Val wants to meet Dutt’s rich father, and then asks when he “goes” if Dutt gets the cash. Dutt and Val then sing “Give Love a Chance.” Lauren calls Val YOKO and bails.~A LECTURE FROM OLD MAN STING~
Sting makes his way to the ring, and it is lecture time. Out of respect for Jerry Jarrett and even Jeff, he stood here last week and listened. But tonight they listen to him. Jeff has some gullible people in the back swerved. Jeff has left out some details. Jeff called and asked Sting to come out of retirement to wrestle in TNA. Jeff asked him to come and said that he needed him. He also got a call from Vince McMahon. Sting said he chose TNA, even though Vince said he was giving up a chance to make millions. If Sting was about money he’d be with Vince. But Sting chose to come to TNA, because he loves the brand. He loves the young wrestlers and what he saw, until he got to know some of the young guys. So Jeff, everyone needs to understand. Do you not need me anymore? Well Sting has to worry about Joe and Bound for Glory. Sting has a slide show for us. We see Arm and Tully! A great tag team, and they taught him to have eyes in the back of his head. Next is Dusty Rhodes. One of the most charismatic wrestlers, he taught Sting to involve the fans and not to judge a book by its cover. Hulk Hogan is next. People around the world will claim him to be the best ever. Hogan was wrestling and it became mainstream because of him. Sting say she is not afraid to admit that. Now we see Flair. 20-years ago Flair took a young jabroni named Sting and put him on the map. He had the choice to make or break his career, but he helped me out. Why? Because Sting respected Ric Flair. Flair taught him to travel around the world, how to walk the isle, how to bleed and keep going, he was his brother, friend, his confidant, he is Slick Ric! And now we see Samoa Joe. Joe does not know how to be a world champion. He needs to learn respect. We see Sting on the screen. He says he will get the job done. Bound for Glory 2008 is all his and he will get the job done.-In the back Abyss is freaking out and Morgan wants to calm him. Abyss is screaming for no weapons while Morgan tires to explain the money aspect of the PPV appearance. Morgan says he talked to Abyss’ therapist and says he has to face his fear. Morgan said he feared flying, and he became a pilot. Abyss asks to see his wings, nice. Morgan then says he feared bears, and went into the woods and beat the shit out of a bear. Abyss thinks that they are hairy and cuddly. Abyss then asks if he will be ok, and Morgan says they will be just fine.
-We get a video preview for the Steel Asylum Match.
-JB is with Joe. JB thought Joe would come out to confront Sting, but Joe says he is fine. He realizes and apologizes to Nash. Joe understands now, you have to keep it together before you make the kill. That’s where he is at right now. They are three weeks away from the PPV, and let’s be honest, this has to do with fear. Fear of a man like Joe taking his spot. Joe is done talking yelling, making promises. At Bound for Glory, he’ll do all his talking in the ring. Lethal and Creed come to thank Joe for all he does, and promise to have his back if he needs it. Joe says shit is about to get interesting.
-We get a video package for Suicide.
Non-Title Match: Sheik Abdul Bashir © vs. Samoa Joe ©
Bashir looks to use his speed to begin, but he gets flap jacked down. An Irish whip by Joe, Enziguri by Joe and Bashir is down. Off the ropes, Joe misses the corner knee and Bashir then goes to work on the leg. Elbow drops by Bashir to the leg, works the grapevine of the leg but Joe battles out. Joe then misses the knee drop, and Bashir works kicks to the leg and covers for 2. Bashir continues his work of the with a knee crank, Joe lands a kick and breaks it. Chops by Joe, Bashir cuts him off and lands chops. A whip, reversal and boot by Bashir. Bashir then misses a 2nd rope cross body. Atomic drop by Joe, big boot and then the back splash gets 2. Bashir back with the jawbreaker, then to the knee and now applies the single leg crab. Joe manages to get the ropes, Bashir wraps the leg in the ropes and continues to abuse it. Forearm strikes to Joe, the ref backs him off but Bashir charges in, STJOE~! Joe sets Bashir up top, MUSCLE BUSTA~! That’s all.
After the match Joe has the mic and tells Sting that he wants respect, well, he got his respect right here! Joe applies the rear naked choke and officials are out to break the hold.
Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir @ 4:00 via DQ
# The good news is that they dropped the plane sound from Bashir’s theme music. This was a damn fine four-minute match, but Bashir came out of it looking like complete shit. Sorry but he did, losing clean as hell in four-minutes and then choked out like a bitch, was Johnny Devine not available?
RATING: **-We get an AJ Styles video package.
-JB is with AJ Styles. AJ is pissed at Booker and is proud of where he is from and mocks Booker’s new accent. AJ then says there will be no wedge between he and Cage, only a boot up Booker’s ass.
-Christian Cage comes to the ring to check out the action.
Booker T w/Sharmell and her Briefcase vs. AJ Styles
AJ with the go behind, to the corner and Booker breaks clean. Lock up and rights by Booker. Chops follow, wristlock and then the sidekick by Booker. AJ fires back with rights, chops follow and then a whip to the corner and the corner splash by AJ. Snap mare and kicks by AJ follow and then a cover for 2. Booker back with knee strikes, off the ropes and AJ slides under and then dropkicks Booker in the back of the head. AJ covers for 2 and we’ll head to a commercial @ 3:00.
Back from commercial @ 5:30 as Booker lands a kick to take AJ to the mat. Forearm strikes by Booker, the side slam follows and then a knee drop by Booker. To the corner, chops by Booker and then rights follow. Snap mare by Booker and a cover for 2. Booker works a seated wristlock on AJ, but AJ works to his feet and eats a spinebuster for 2. Booker works the chinlock, the ref checks on AJ, the arm drops two times, but stays up on the third. AJ to his feet, elbows to Booker, avoids the ax kick and delivers clotheslines to Booker. AJ to the apron, SUPERMAN forearm connects and AJ gets a cover for 2. PELE by AJ, another cover for 2. Booker counters a whip, knee to AJ and then off the ropes and a forearm by Booker. To the corner, AJ and Booker collide and then they collide into the ref. OY… Sharmell plays Debra and has the briefcase, Cage makes the save and AJ sees him with the case, dissention in the ranks, Booker takes out Cage and levels AJ with the case, tosses it, and then gets the cover for 3.
Winner: Booker T @ 10:45 via pin
# I never really got into the match, it just felt as if they were going through the motions. I guess I expected more. The end came off poor in execution, but the had the right idea.
RATING: **-Booker stares down with Cage after the match and then leaves with Sharmell.
-Cage and AJ argue as the show ends.
-We get a video package to close the show.
-Mick Foley officially debuts next week.
*End scene…

NEWS: |TNAWN| Kevin Nash and TNA has reached a new deal that will keep Nash in TNA. His contract was set to expire soon and he was rumored to jump back to WWE.
Details of his new contract are unknown.
Well done Nash. As soon as your contract is set to expire, you start telling everyone that you may jump to WWE. I seriously doubt WWE & Nash were talking recently. I’m sure they would sign him back, but Nash starts bringing up all this WWE stuff just to play TNA in giving him more money.
I can’t blame the guy though because he’s just looking out for himself.

~SAMOA JOE SPEAKS~
Joe says at No Surrender he was taken to the limit by Angle and Cage, two of the greats. They may never get along, but he gives them credit for showing up and giving everything they have for the greatest title in wrestling. Sting, while we’re out here busting our ass for the people, where are you? You’re in your estate, having tea parties. We are here wrestling our asses off, where are you? Love or hate me, live or die, I will be in this ring defending the title. When was the last time you sacrificed anything for TNA? While we are traveling the world, you’re at home. AJ Styles doesn’t see his son, when did you last miss something for your son? At Bound for Glory it will be us, the air we breathe and the hate we share. You will ask for MY respect, and instead of my hand you’ll get my size 13 boot kicking your ass all over the ring. It will be SHOWTIME, and get ready to take your final bow, and you can then kiss my ass!-JB caught JJ earlier today. JJ has something to say tonight and he hopes Sting is listening.

Fall away slam to Shelley, Superman forearm by AJ to Sabin and Cage with a plancha to Sabin on the floor. Styles Clash on Sabin and that’s all.
Winners: AJ Styles and Christian Cage @ 5:30 via pin
# A damn fun tag match that I would have loved to see go longer. I hate to see the Guns losing again, but hopefully the angle with their constant disrespect is going somewhere.
RATING: **½-After the match AJ shakes with the Guns, Cage goes for a shake and Shelley pulls his hand away and flips off Cage! AJ tries to keep the peace as Cage wants to beat Shelley’s ass.
-We get a video package for Booker T.
-JB is with Booker in his awesome locker room. Booker discussed the disrespect in TNA. He says the Guns disrespected Cage, and AJ stood there and did nothing. That is what Sting is talking about. Booker says Lethal disrespects Randy Savage each and every week. JB says he is honoring him, but Booker disagrees. He will show Lethal honor tonight. As far as JJ, Sharmell says Booker knows and will watch, listen and then react. JB asks why Booker had a briefcase and what’s in it and Booker dismisses him.
-We get a video package for the Terror Dome, now called the Steel Asylum.
-Lauren is with Sheik Abdul Bashir. The American people cried when the stock market fell, try losing your life. John McCain and Obama are telling what they can do for us, but what about him? This belt is step one for getting his life back together. He used to be a peaceful man. But now there is a deep hatred, and this belt is his hostage. He dares us to try and take it away. Are you willing to lose everything? He is because he has nothing left to lose.
Petey Williams w/Rhaka Khan, Johnny Devine and Jimmy Rave w/Hemme and Rock vs. The Prince Justice Brotherhood (Shark Boy, Curry Man and Super Eric)

Rave and Devine clothesline Petey as Sharky ducked, cross body by Super Eric on Petey and that is all.
Winners: The Prince Justice Brotherhood @ 3:30 via pin
# It was fun, no real complaints. I suppose the angle after the match is hype for the Steel Asylum.
RATING: *½-After the match Devine and Rave argue, and then Rave puts the bad mouth on Petey. They beat down Petey and Rock tosses referee Shane Sewell down. He fires up and makes the save with chops to all! GOOZLE by Rock, LOW BLOW by Sewell and he and Petey clear the ring! Earl Hebner is out to calm down Sewell.
-JB is with Sting. He says that he will listen to what Jeff says, speak now or forever hold your peace.
-Tenay hosted a press conference for Matt Morgan. This is for the deal where they are sending his DNA sequence sent to space in October. They give Morgan an award for this, and he says that this will leave a legacy for him.
-Lauren is with Abyss and Morgan. She discusses what happened after the match. Morgan say the replay and admits that he is wrong. Abyss laughs and says it is ok and trips out some hair and gives it to Morgan as a gift. Freak DNA, how nice. Morgan looks at Lauren and says, “Good times.” Morgan says they are unbeatable because they defeated Team 3D. Morgan says they could be great together. Abyss says he has to speak with his therapist first. Morgan says he signed them up for a tag team invitational at Bound for Glory. Team 3D is here, runs down their accomplishments and says their win was a fluke, they had a bad day. Devin was shacked up with a 300lb white girl and Ray pulled his groin the night before. Ray says they can’t carry their jock, and 3D says they will be in the same match at Bound for Glory, and someone will get knocked out, knocked down or maybe even knocked up. Ok.
-Jackie walks.
-Jackie talks shit to Hector Guerrero and then slaps him. She slaps him again and hector drops the coat. Beer Money is out and beats down Hector. Set up dude, you’ve been in wrestling how long? They take him to the ring and continue the attack, but LAX is out and makes the save. I have to say that the Beer Money shirts RULE. Traci Brooks is out now and says that Jackie and Hector have to go to the principal’s; I mean Jim Cornette’s office.
-We get a rough cuts segment on Roxxi.
-Sting walks from the rafters.
-In Jim Cornette’s office Traci and Cornette discipline Jackie for her actions. Brooks says she is allowing Jackie to play with the boys since she wants in so bad. Beer Money and Jackie vs. LAX and Hector for the LAST time. The loser of the match loses their manager forever.
-We get a video package for Sting.
~OLD MAN STING IS SICK OF JOE~
Sting makes his way to the ring. He says Joe’s words cut to the bone, and the truth is that Joe is immature and naïve and he doesn’t know what the deal is. When Joe was a kid sucking his thumb, Sting was running the roads 340 days a year, in front of 40 people for $50 on a good day. He has done this for 20-years and he hasn’t forgotten where he came from. You talk respect, he learned respect a long time ago. He learned from the best. So what will you do 15-years from now Joe, if you have the durability, when disrespect gets in you face. He shut his mouth and learned from Magnum TA, Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes, Tully Blanchard, and he listened to Ric Flair. They talked about disrespect. As for Bound for Glory, you are bigger, faster and stronger as well as younger. He still has some tricks up his sleeve. 2006 was great, 2007 was great and so will Bound for Glory 2008.-We return with a video package for Suicide.
-Tenay and West hype Bound for Glory, and the Sting vs. Joe match.
-We now get a knockouts video package.
-JB is with Cage and AJ. JB asks about the disrespect from the Guns, and AJ says to drop it. People are choosing sides, and they are on the same page. Cage doesn’t seem to agree and asks what side AJ is on. Cage says he is the champ and no one makes decisions for him and says for AJ not to forget who put him in the spotlight.
-Lauren is with Jay Lethal and says she is sorry for what happened with Val. He tells her to stop because he needs NO PITY! He is not in a good mood because that tramp Val screwed him. He wants to kill Val and Dutt. He is also pissed about what Booker said, and says he is honoring Savage when he goes into the ring, he memorized his words and moves and he is pissed off because Booker is wrong. Tonight, there will be a whole lot of disrespect, when he disrespects Booker’s ass all over the arena!
“Black Machismo” Jay Lethal vs. Booker T w/Sharmell
They stand off and talk trash. Booker shoves Jay, who then fires away with rights. Knees by Booker, chops and rights follow. A whip, float over by Jay and then clotheslines Booker to the floor. Booker avoids the baseball slide, rights to Jay and then chops. Jay manages to whip Booker into the steel post, chops by Jay follow and then slams Booker to the barrier. Back into the ring and Jay springboards in with a missile dropkick. He goes up top, Sharmell distracts him and as Jay leaps in Booker nails him with a leaping leg lariat. Chops by Booker, to the corner and Booker lays in the chops and rights. Jay tries to fight back with rights, knees by Booker and Jay is down. Booker misses the superkick, jabs by Jay and an eye rake stops that. Mounted rights by Booker, and into a top wristlock on the mat. Jay gets to his feet, rights and he escapes only to eat a sidekick by Booker. Boot by Booker, off the ropes and misses the ax kick, chops by Jay and then a clothesline and another. Chops by Jay, elbow by Booker and then the boot, off the ropes and a hip toss and dropkick by Jay and a cover for 2. Jay off the ropes, tripped by Sharmell and Booker gets the ax kick for the win.
Winner: Booker T @ 6:00 via pin
# That was going along rather well, and could have used a few more minutes. Booker seemed motivated and Jay was working hard, good deal.
RATING: **-The Beautiful People and Cute Kip are with Lauren. Love is upset because she woke up with a blemish on her face. It is the end of the world. Sky gets pissed and calls her an idiot hole, ok. She calls Lauren a skank, and Love will go to see her dermatologist. Ok.
Thanks to Chris Lansdell for providing the recap for this match, I lost power for a few moments.
Rhino and Taylor Wilde vs. Velvet Sky and Cute Kip
I hope the women stay in the ring. No wait, I hope they don’t. No, wait…oh crap.
They explain that Rhyno and Taylor met in Detroit when Taylor was coming up. There’s a horn joke there somewhere, but I’m not the one to make it. Velvet starts with a hair takedown, she mounts Taylor and pounds her. Lucky. Taylor comes back with an arm drag, Velvet flees to her corner and tags Kip. Rhyno also tags in, they lock up and Rhyno has control with chops. Slick Johnson gets in the way but doesn’t go down, that was strange. Kip distracts Slick long enough for Velvet to spritz Rhyno in the eyes and the heels have control. Velvet tags in and starts choking out Rhyno! Kip tags in, lays in a few shots and tries for the corner splash, but Rhyno moves! Both ladies tag in, Taylor with a series of dropkicks, she blocks a clothesline and hits a northern lights for 2. Kip tries to intercede, GORE! GORE! GORE! Angelina is at ringside, she slides in a lead pipe for Velvet. Taylor blocks the attack and gets a quick rollup for the win.
Winners: Rhino and Taylor Wilde @ 4:10 via pin
# Ummm, it was there? When Rhyno is the most talented person in the match, one and a quarter is amazing…
RATING: *¼I am back!
-After the match the Beautiful People and Cute Kip beat down Rhino and Wilde. Fameasser to Rhino. Wilde is back in and takes out Sky and Love, but KONG IS HERE! Wilde up top and DIVES to the floor onto Kong, we head to a commercial and when we come back it is brown bag time for Rhino and Wilde. Thanks for showing the brawl, oh wait, you didn’t. We get a quick replay of it.
-We get a video history of Jeff Jarrett in TNA.
-Jeff Jarrett makes his way to the ring.
~MAIN EVENT INTERVIEW: THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN IS BACK!~
JJ gets welcome back chants, sets his guitar down and sports a shirt only he could wear. He has watched things the last few weeks and felt that he had to come out here. He will say something tonight that he never saw before. When you saw him 6-years ago, he was Jeff Jarrett the founder of TNA Wrestling. When WCW went out of business he had a vision for a company to give young hopefuls their break. He started when he was 16 and he knows better than anyone how hard it is go get a break. He wanted TNA to be the place for guys that deserved the big break. Well, a big thanks to the good lord, his precious wife Jill, a great financial partner and millions of fans, because 6-years later we are here. He thanks us all for that. They chant thank you Jeff, and he says no. Unfortunately there is something going on here, and he cannot ignore it. Sting, I don’t want to talk behind your back, I want to talk face to face, so I would appreciate that you come out now.Sting’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. JJ says that they have been in the game a long time, and his father gave Sting his first break in the business and he is proud of that. He is trying to do what his father did to the guys in the back. JJ has been watching Sting and listening. He thinks that Sting is full of crap! It is a smoke screen, you want to get on your high horse and say that it is disrespect. JJ had a dream, and it is due to guys like AJ and Joe. Those guys literally carried this company on their back, and every step of the way they showed JJ the respect just like he showed them. This isn’t about disrespect, JJ was there, WCW, they worked together when a multi-million dollar company went out of business because the torch wasn’t passed. They wanted to hold onto their spot, position and their fat paychecks. This is about 20-30 guys, and not one of them over 30 years old and they are at Sting’s heels. This is about guys like YOU Sting, Booker T, Kurt Angle. You three guys want to take, take, take and not give, give, give. He has a newsflash for Sting, this is not WCW, this is TNA and he will not stand for it.
Kurt Angle now makes his way to the ring. Angle says this is a shoot, straight up. He is talking behind Angle’s back. JJ says he didn’t think he would have the chance tonight. JJ says that Angle knows the story. 2-years ago he had to step away because of family issues, and he chose one guy to replace him, and that guy had the passion, work ethic and drive that he had. He picked Angle to be that guy. He handpicked him to fill his shoes, and as the founder of TNA Wrestling that is the worst decision he has ever made. JJ is ashamed about what has happened. Angle lost his family, his wife, his TNA title and he even lost his gold medal. The only thing left to lose is his dignity. Angle says that JJ left because he was done and Sting kicked his ass. When it comes down to it you didn’t have the heart, so you found another talent to fill his shoes, and what you found was a younger, better version of Jeff Jarrett and HE carried the company on his own. Not once did JJ thank him for saving TNA and he and the fans are nothing but assholes. He is an Olympic Gold Medallist for God’s Sake! Angle challenges JJ for Bound for Glory. JJ came out as the founder, he has nothing left to prove. Angle says he isn’t done, and says if JJ isn’t a wrestler he needs to get out and never come back. It is not for washed up has-beens like JJ. JJ says not to push him, he is warning him. He doesn’t want any part of the pain that he has been wearing for two years…
But…
BANG BANG! Foley is on the screen and says what JJ is saying is that that it’s real, it’s damn real…BANG BANG!

NEWS: |TNA PWI| Mick Foley will make his debut this Thursday night on iMPACT!. The episode has already been taped and Foley debuts at the end of the night…
“
Jeff Jarrett came to the ring and cut a promo on Sting, saying that he was full of garbage. Jarrett said that Samoa Joe and AJ Styles were carrying this company, and that they were carrying the company before the Kurt Angle’s and Sting’s came to the promotion. Kurt Angle came to the ring and stated that when Jarrett left the company two years ago he handpicked Angle to take him place. Angle said that it was the worst decision he ever made, and that Jarrett left because he was washed up. Angle challenged him to a match at Bound for Glory. Jarrett said that he didn’t have it in him anymore, but that he knew someone who did. He pointed to the screen and Mick Foley appeared and said, “BANG BANG!” Jarrett left Angle in the ring, as Angle stood there looking shocked.
“
This is an awful debut. It’s beyond cliche too. TNA thinks they’re throwing in a swerve, but it’s just a big let down. TNA usually has original ideas, but this is not one of them. WWE has done this set up for years: Two guys confront each other, fans think they’ll fight, one of the guys surprises the other with a different opponent.
In other news, it looks like Jarrett is returning as a heel after all. Nice touch by TNA on that one. Clearly they’re building up Jarrett as a face and will unload the surprise later on. I picked up on this when reading his promo. Jarrett said he doesn’t have it in him, but Foley does. Well played Jarrett, you’re already lying to the fans…the mark of a true heel.

NEWS/RUMOR: |PWI| Booker T missed No Surrender because the hurricane prevented him from flying out of Texas. However, TNA planned for this and wanted to fly Booker a few days early. Booker T did not want to do this and thus stuck with the original date. Because of this he missed No Surrender.

NEWS: |PWI| Salinas has quit TNA. She got a role in a new movie, but the filming would conflict with her TNA schedule. Salinas asked TNA to match the money offer, but TNA refused so Salinas thus quit.
Who cares. Let her go. She didn’t being anything unique to TNA, LAX or the Women’s Division. When WWE let her go, I was livid. But now after seeing her in TNA I’m starting to think there’s not much to her.
TNA will not hurt with the loss of Salinas, but the film industry will.

NEWS: |411M| The following report is from 411Mania with full credit going to Larry Csonka…
“
-We get a video package from last week’s show.
-JB catches up with Sting, Jeff Jarrett is on his mind tonight. That’s sweet. I do find it rude that Sting will talk to JB, but blow off Lauren two weeks in a row. What a douche.
-Tenay and West welcome us to the show and run down what we’ll see tonight.
~SAMOA JOE SPEAKS~
Joe calls out Sting and days that they are days away from No Surrender. Joe doesn’t care that he has people aiming at him for the title or about focus. Joe won’t leave here tonight unless he gets Sting’s head on a platter.Nash says Joe may not care, but Nash does. He invested 6-months in him. Joe says Nash laid hands on him and after he takes care of Sting, Nash is next. Nash says he feels like a father that smokes and drinks telling his kid not to do the same. Nash says he understands why Joe would want to beat his ass, but Joe is the World Champion. But while he looks for Sting, he has three guys gunning for the title and that is all they care about. Nash says he is wrong, but he set something up for Joe to show that he isn’t ready. He has three opponents, and if he goes through them, he knows Joe is ready.
Joe says he would defend the title with his life and do it for these fans, so to prove to everyone tonight he will take this challenge. After he is done with that trash, be assured that he is coming after Sting.
-Lauren is with The Beautiful People. They discuss the beauty pageant that is happening tonight. Love says that beauty is everything, that it is not about family, friends or money, beauty is everything. At No Surrender she WILL be the new knockouts champion, but she makes an example out of Wilde tonight.
THE ABYSS OPEN CHALLENGE: Abyss vs. Christian Cage
Abyss tosses Cage away to begin the match. Rights and lefts by Cage, off the ropes and a shoulder block by Abyss. Abyss misses a charge and Abyss takes him back down. Running ass splash in the corner by Abyss. Off the ropes and a boot by Cage, charges Abyss and takes a flapjack. Abyss pulls Cage to the corner, charges once again and misses as Cage moves. Clotheslines by Cage, off the ropes and a back elbow by Cage, 2nd rope spinning uppercut connects and a cover for 2. Basement dropkick by Cage, he goes up top and a FROG SPLASH connects by Abyss GOOZLES him! Cage escapes the chokeslam, but Abyss then gets it anyway and covers for 2. Abyss is not happy about the count. Shock treatment countered and Cage gets the unprettier, but Kurt Angle charges in and get a DQ.
Winner: Christian Cage @ 4:30 via DQ
# This was actually a good little match until the run in.
RATING: **-Booker T is out, they get a chair and try to take Cage out, but Angle gives Abyss the chair. They hold Cage as Abyss looks terrified. He drops the chair and takes out Booker and Angle. The numbers get to Abyss, Booker has the chair but Matt Morgan makes the save for Abyss. Morgan grabs the mic and says if they want a fight, he challenges them to a tag match later tonight. Angle accepted.
~THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BEAUTY CONTEST PART I~
JB announces the contest, and the judges. The judges are Curry Man, Super Eric and Shark Boy. He then announces Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Cute Kip. This will be the evening gown portion of the contest. Taylor Wilde is then announced. They take turns posing, including a stare down and lame music and lame commentary from West and Tenay.
The judge’s results:
Curry Man – Angelina Love
Shark Boy – Taylor Wilde
Super Eric - Taylor WildeTaylor Wilde is up 1-0.
-We get a video package for AJ Styles.
-Lauren is with Sonjay Dutt. They discuss the ladder of love match, with SoCal Val being the prize. Dutt just wanted a chance to win her love. He doesn’t care that he ruined Jay’s life because he wants Val. By any means necessary he will win her love. His father told him to make sure that he has more than the next guy, even if he is her friend. No mercy at No Surrender for Jay Lethal.
~KAREN’S ANGLE~
Sting is her guest, no makeup. He wants respect for the whole business, not just himself. She mentions that he wanted to retire, and he says he was ready to walk away. He had this flashback of his whole career, young guys offering the Ric Flair’s of the business their chair and those kind of things. It doesn’t matter what you think about a Kurt Angle, you do not do what AJ Styles did to him. He never would have treated a Flair or Hogan that way. They paved the way for him. If respect doesn’t come back to the business, it will disintegrate. Karen says the young guys want the old guys to step aside. Sting says he knows what it is like to be the low man, the JAYBRONE, he has been there. “I HAD RESPECT!” I will get it into these guys, tough love if you will. Karen mentions Jeff Jarrett, and Sting says his dad gave him his break, and he doesn’t know where he stands, he cannot wait to see where he stands.# Tenay and West run down the No Surrender Card.
- The Rock and Rave Infection (Rave, Rock and Hemme) vs. The Prince Justice Brotherhood (Shark Boy vs. Curry Man vs. Super Eric)

- TNA X-Division Title Match: Petey Williams © vs. Consequences Creed vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir
- TNA Knockouts Title Match: Taylor Wilde © vs. Angelina Love
- TNA Tag Team Title Match: Beer Money © vs. LAX
- Four Ways to Glory TNA World Title Match: Samoa Joe © vs. Booker T vs. Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage-AJ Styles hits the ring and says that Frank Trigg should be out there right now. He should be getting the piss beat out of him by AJ. After a commercial Frank Trigg makes his way to the ring. Trigg says he doesn’t understand half of what AJ said because he doesn’t have his HICKMETER with him. He mocks AJ’s amateur background and says that he is a professional MMA fighter, he hurts people for a living. Trigg says where he comes from, they go for KO’s and Submissions. Trigg proposes 3-5-minute rounds, submissions only at No Surrender. Trigg mocks AJ’s handshake, SLAPS the piss out of Trigg and they BRAWL! Security breaks them up.
-Lauren is with Christian Cage. He says that it is the law of survival around here. Cage says he may not be the biggest, strongest or fastest but he always fights. Listen up real good, because it will take a hell of a lot to keep him down and out of the No Surrender main event. It is in his back yard. One hour from where he grew up, one hour away from where he fell in love with wrestling. One hour away from pretending he was a wrestler. One hour away from where he took his college money to afford wrestling school, busting his ass day in and out. One hour from where he had his first match, where he made $10. One hour away from where all of his Canadian peeps will be watching. Angle, Booker, Joe; one hour, it all comes full circle. Because in three seconds, the Instant Classic becomes the word heavyweight champion again. If you don’t know, now you know.
~THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BEAUTY CONTEST PART II~
JB runs down the event again.Wilde goes first for the bikini contest. Damn it is cold in there.
Love is next, she gets some perfect stripper style music, which I am sure she is used to. She goes to the judge’s table and disrobes over there.
The judge’s results:
Curry Man – Angelina Love
Shark Boy – Angelina Love
Super Eric – Taylor WildeIt is tied 1-1.
-We get a video package for Awesome Kong vs. ODB.
Knockouts Bimbo Brawl: Roxxi vs. Awesome Kong w/Riesha Saeed
Kong attacks Roxxi on her way to the ring, tosses the shopping cart away and then slams Roxxi into the barricade. Into the crowd they go and Kong TREE SLAMS HER INTO THE WALL! That had to suck. Back to ringside they go, but Roxxi battles back with rights and then slams Kong to the steel steps. We head to a commercial @ 1:45.
Back from commercial @ 5:30 as Roxxi gets a boot to Kong, gets tossed back to the mat but Roxxi charges her again with rights. Trashcan lid shots by Roxxi, a running boot connects and a cover for 2. Roxxi has a chair, drop toehold on Kong into the chair. A bulldog by Roxxi lands Kong on the chair and a cover for 2. Kong battles back with a lariat, grabs the chair and lays it out on the mat. Slams Roxxi onto the chair, goes to the 2nd rope and MISSES the Amazing Press! Roxxi coves for 2. Roxxi argues with the ref, which allows Kong to KILL Roxxi with a chair shot, and Roxxi is busted open and bleeding. KONG BOMB and that is all,
Winner: Awesome Kong @ 8:30 via pin
# I hate these bimbo brawls. Someone asked me during this show, “When was the last time a chick bled on TV.” My answer was the last time Roxxi got busted open in one of these stupid hardcore chick matches. Go back to putting on GOOD women’s wrestling instead of this bullshit. Roxxi is a trooper, but continues to get no reward for her hard work and willingness to sacrifice for this company.
RATING: *-Roxxi is laying in a pool of her own blood. Saeed and Kong set up chairs to try and finish off Roxxi, but ODB is out to makes the save. Kong uses the ref as a shield and escapes. Slick Johnson talks shit to ODB, and gets laid out by a chair shot.
Non-Title Nash Challenge Match: Samoa Joe © vs…
Johnny Devine is victim number 1. Devine attacks at the bell, but Joe KILLS him with a DVD and pins him in like, 20-seconds.
Lance Rock is up next. The Rock and Rave do their pose, and then Rock attacks Joe. Clubbing shots by Rock, but Joe back with jabs and rights. An Irish whip and back elbow by Rock. Joe then sidesteps a cross body try. Hemme tries to distract Joe, doesn’t work and a big leaping kick by Joe. CHOKE and Rock is Joe’s bitch in about 2-minutes.
Joe awaits his third challenger, who will be…TOMKO! Tomko and Joe stand off, remember when Tomko pinned Joe and was the hottest guy in the company? Anyway they trade big shots, forearms and rights, to the corner and chops by Tomko. Joe levels him with a forearm shot, but Tomko rebounds and levels Joe with the clothesline. Tomko tries to keep Joe grounded, but he battles out and then gets a superkick on Tomko. Good angle from the camera as it looked to miss actually. Tomko fights off the muscle buster, but Joe beat shim down, senton back splash and a cover for 2. Forearm strikes by Tomko, off the ropes and a snap slam by Joe gets 2.Tomko comes back with the TREE SLAM and gets a cover for 2. Tomko looks for a powerbomb, but Joe backdrops out and then misses a corner splash. Tomko charges in… STJOE~! Tomko set up top, MUSCLE BUSTA! 1…2…3.
Winner: Samoa Joe @ 7:00 (Total Time) via Pin, Submission and Pin
# I liked the idea of the segment and it came off well as Joe looked dominant. The after match promo by Nash is the big time angle alert for the PPV in my opinion, but was also well done.
RATING: **-Nash does the point to Joe, grabs the mic and says Joe proved him wrong and then says he feels sorry for those sons of bitches in Toronto. Nash says he taught him everything he knows, and that Joe is on his own. BROTHERS GOTTA HUG MAN!
~THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BEAUTY CONTEST PART III~
This is the talent competition, and it is tied 1-1 overall.Angelina Love will have an oral presentation. Way too easy, just like her. HUZZAH~! Love say this is in three parts, they tell a shitty knock-knock joke to begin. My 6-year old knows better jokes. Love then says she wrote a poem for Wilde: “There once was a girl named Taylor, who went to a school names Baylor, she scored first rank in the class of skank because the whole football team nailed her.” Wow. They then sing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.” Wow, kill me now.
Taylor is up next, she plays seven instruments, and will play drums. She kicks ass while Curry Man dances.
The judge’s results:
Curry Man – Angelina Love
Shark Boy – Taylor Wilde
Super Eric – Taylor WildeTaylor Wilde wins the beauty contest. The Beautiful People throw a fit as Wilde gets her tiara, sash and roses. Kip James is OUTRAGED, Wilde slaps him and the Beautiful People beat down Wilde. Kip holds off the Brotherhood, but Rhino makes the save. Love stole the sash, what a bitch.
-We get a video package for the Four Ways to Glory TNA World Title Match.
Booker T w/Sharmell and Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan and Abyss
I wonder if the whole “bestiality” deal with Angle and Sharmell was ever resolved. Angle and Morgan to begin. Go behind by Angle, he eats a back elbow and gets tossed to the corner, splash by Morgan and then a side slam connects for 2. Tag to Abyss, who beats down Angle with huge rights and lefts. Angle rakes the eyes of Abyss, uppercuts by Angle, off the ropes and a big boot by Abyss levels Angle. Abyss covers for 2 as Booker makes the save. All four men in the ring, Abyss and Morgan clean house as we head to commercial @ 3:00.
Back from commercial @ 6:00 as Angle works over Morgan with forearms, that does jack shit and Morgan slams him down. Drop toehold by Angle, elbow drop follows and then Booker works over Morgan. Booker tags in, mounted rights to Morgan, tags Angle back in and he just lays in the boots on Morgan in the corner. Suplex try by Angle, but Morgan gets a suplex of his own and now both men need the tag. Abyss gets the hot tag and the monster is fired up and goes for a chokeslam but Angle stops that. Bicycle kick by Morgan sends Angle to the floor. BLACK HOLE SLAM on Booker! The ref tries to control Morgan, gets distracted and 3D are out, they NAIL ABYSS with a chair shot to the head, and Angle covers for the win.
Winner: Kurt Angle and Booker T @ 10:30 via pin
# This was a good formula tag that allowed Morgan to show more here than he has been able to thus far in the company. The run in also sets up well for the PPV tag match.
RATING: **½-3D is very proud of themselves as Morgan and Abyss regroup in the ring.
~MAIN EVENT INTERVIEW: OLD MAN STING DOES NOT APPROVE~
Sting says it is time for good old Jeff Jarrett to come out, come out where ever you are. Sting has no issue with Jeff, but he wants to know if Jeff has a problem with him. Sting just wants to talk things out. He knows Joe is here as well, the line is drawn, come cross it. Joe is in the rafters, and says he isn’t disrespectful, but Sting is insecure. He thinks Sting views him as a threat. Joe welcomes him to come to No Surrender, because he will not be coming alone.Jarrett’s music hits, and he appears on top of the entrance tube, guitar in hand.
*End scene…
There he is. The man everyone loves to hate in TNA is back.
